Warren E (Bob) Ingersoll, assistant chief engineer of Crawfordsville Electric Light and Power Company, died at 5 p.m. Sunday in St Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette where he had been a patient for a month. He was 63. Mr Ingersoll, who resided at 703 E Market St, had been in failing health since March and seriously ill since April 7. An employee of Crawfordsville Electric Light and Power the past 26 years, he was previously employed for 17 years by Snyder Electric Co and Peacock and Shannon Co. here. He was educated in Crawfordsville schools. Born Dec 5, 1901, at Wallace, he was a son of Thomas and Mary Hybarger Ingersoll. He was married Jan 6, (26? or 16?) 1920 to Laura Michaels. They were married here. Survivors in addition to the widow, include a son, Fred E, of Crawfordsville, a daughter Mrs. Rosemary Westfall of West Newton: a sister, Mrs Wreatha Cronin of Crawfordsville and four grandchildren. The body was taken to Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown where friends may pay their respects after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev John R Servies officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. - kbz
