Waynetown March 12 - Mrs. Rebecca (Moffett) Ingersoll, 76 widow of Clayton Ingersoll died at her home here at 5:15 p.m. Friday after a long illness. Born southwest of here where she spent most of her life she was a member of the Ingersoll Christian Church and was its pianist many years. Her husband died in 1944 after which she moved to Waynetown. Survivors are five sons and four daughters, Mrs. SM Woodruff, Frankfort; Ralph Ingersoll, Hillsboro; James and Paul Ingersoll, Wingate; Mrs. Ralph Bounnell, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Harrel Johnson, Covington; Mrs. WD Munns, Bloomington and Lloyd and Herschel Ingersoll, Waynetown with a brother, Henry Moffett, Waynetown.

Waynetown, March 11 - Mrs. Rebecca Moffett Ingersoll 76 died at her home in Waynetown Friday at 5:15 p.m. after an extended illness which became serious a week ago. She was born Jan 13, 1873 on the Moffett farm in the Ingersoll community, Fountain County southwest of Waynetown where she spent most of her life.  She was a member of Ingersoll Christian Church and served it actively many years as pianist. She was also a member of the Ladies' Aid society of the same church.  She was married to Clayton Ingersoll who preceded her in death Aug 5, 1944.  After the death of her husband, she moved to her present home in Waynetown.  Mrs. Ingersoll is survived by the following children: Mrs. SM Woodruff, Frankfort; Ralph Paul Ingersoll of Wingate; Mrs. Ralph Bounnell Crawfordsville and Mrs. Harrell Johnson, Covington; Mrs. WD Munns, Bloomington; and Lloyd and Herschel Ingersoll of Waynetown. She is also survived by a brother, Henry Moffitt (sic) of Waynetown and two granddaughters.  Funeral services will be in the Grenard-Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown at 3 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Floyd J. Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home where friends may call.  - kbz
