Waynetown- Jim Ingersoll, 67, of Waynetown died Monday night in Lakeview Hospital in Danville, Ill, where he had been a patient since that afternoon. He was a retired Indiana State Highway employe. Mr Ingersoll, who had lived in the Waynetown and Wingate areas all of his life, was a member of the former Ingersoll Chapel Church and was a member of Waynetown Masonic Lodge 302. He was graduated from Waynetown High School in 1926. Born July 7, 1908, in Fountain County, he was a son of Clayton and Rebecca Moffett Ingersoll. He was married to Frances Newman on Aug 7, 1937. She survives. Also surviving are a brother, Ralph of Hillsboro; three sisters, Mrs William (Ruth) Munns of Bloomington, Mrs Ralph (Jewell) Bounell of Crawfordsville and Mrs Harrell (Lois) Johnson of covington; and two nieces. Three brothers, Herschel, Lloyd and Paul Guy, and a sister Mrs Mildred Woodruff, are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Woollard officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
