Mrs. Ida Ingersoll, wife of Leo Ingersoll, died at the home southwest of Waynetown at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning following a decline in health covering the past year and a serious illness during the past three weeks. The funeral service was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and was conducted by Rev. John Servies, the interment taking place at the Masonic cemetery at Waynetown. Ida Bowman Ingersoll, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Hybarger Bowman, was born on a farm in Jackson township, Fountain county, May 11, 1875 and was 53 years and 4 months old at her death. She was united in marriage with Leo Ingersoll, June 21 1899, and to union was born one son, Ray Ingersoll, Waynetown. during the pastorate of Rev. Samuel Smith, she united with the Ingersoll Christian church and continued a faithful member of the church to her death. She leaves to mourn her death a devoted husband and son, two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. James Parks and Mrs. Harry Hesler of Crawfordsville; two brothers, John and Houston of Wallace and other relatives and many friends. Mrs. Ingersoll was a devoted wife and mother, a good neighbor and a Christian woman, and will be greatly missed not alone by the family loved ones, but by all who knew her. - kbz

Waynetown Sept 12 - Mrs. Leo Ingersoll of southwest of here died at her home Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock of a complication of diseases. She had been ill for a year. Deceased was born in Cain Twp, Fountain County May 11, 1875 the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Hybarger Bowman. She was married to Leo Ingersoll June 21, 1899. Mrs. Ingersoll was a member of the Ingersoll Church for many years and spent her entire life in this community. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Ray Ingersoll of Waynetown; two brothers, John and Houston of Walnut; two sisters, Mrs. James Parks and Mrs. Harry Hesler of near Crawfordsville and two granddaughters. The funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. John Servies will have charge of the service. Interment will be made in the Waynetown Cemetery. - kbz
