Waynetown - Alice May Ingersoll, 79, of Waynetown died at 11:28 a.m. Sunday (April 21, 1996) in Culver Union Hospital. Mrs. Ingersoll was a retired cook for Alamo HS and at the former Cambridge Inn of Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church and was a 1936 graduate of Wallace High School. She was born Feb 15, 1917 at Wallace to Alva and Mary Gray Myers. SHe married May 30, 1941 to Lee Hallett. He died Feb 6, 19852. She remarried to Chester A. Ingersoll on Aug 7, 1953 he survives.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Hallett and Bill Hallett, both of Crawfordsville; two stepsons, Larry Ingersoll of Tamps Fla and Ed Ingersoll of Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Karen Pritchett of Crawfordsville; a brother, Ralph G. of Waynetown; a sister, Esther L. Lamson of Waynetown; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cramer-Shoemaker Funral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Ed Maurer and George Smith officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 pm. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Waynetown Christian Church. - kb
