Laura M. Ingersoll, 76, a Pink Lady for Culver Hospital with more than 10,000 hours of volunteer service was pronounced dead on arrival at 4 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital after being fatally stricken in her home at 703 E.  Market St.  Mrs. Ingersoll was a member of the First Christian Church and Culver Hospital Guild.  She was a member and past president of American War Mothers.  She was born near Linden on July 28, 1899.  She married Warren "Bob" Ingersoll on June 6, 1920. He died May 2, 1965.  

Surviving are a son, Paul E of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Westfall of Plainfield; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Howard Miller officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
