The Argus News had an item last week to the effect that Dr. Barcus & Officer Een Bannister failed to find a cigar box and that was reported to have been hid in the old town cemetery containing an infant's body. The box has been found and Dr. Leech presented an account for $1.50 at the council last night for its burial. The box was found near the place looked for by the coroner. The infant's head had been split wide open, as if with a hatchet. Who did it or who was responsible for it is not known - kbz (this is so sad)
