VEEDERSBURG – Funeral services for Edgar E. Hybarger, age 84, a former Veedersburg resident who died at his home in Clermont Sunday evening, Aug. 13, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at the Jones and Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. Burial was in Cold Springs Cemetery, north of Veedersburg. Mr. Hybarger was born at Wallace, the son of Wallace and Clara Bowman Hybarger. He was married twice, first to Mary Danforth and later to Cecil Derringer, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He had not resided in Veedersburg for several years. Survivors include: six daughters, Mrs. Ethel Petree of Plainfield, Mrs. Lucille Greenwood of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Fay Norman of Venice, Fla., and Mrs. Mable Mitchell, Mrs. Gladys Blair and Mrs. Stella Goodwin, all of Indianapolis; one son, Oscar, of Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Tessie Rice of Mellott, and Mrs. Pearl Sies and Mrs. Elizabeth Connelley, both of Indianapolis, and two brothers, the Rev. Harry Hybarger of Yeddo and Freeman Hybarger of Indianapolis. – jlr
