Veedersburg, Ind. -- Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday at the Parham Funeral Home for Hurshel Hutts, 77, of Veedersburg Route 3, who died Monday Dec 14 1970 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate with burial in Centennial Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Born Oct 31 1893 in Yeddo, he was the son of Richard L. and Ella Philpot Hutts. A life resident of the Veedersburg area, he attended the Centennial Community Church. Survivors include four sons, Virgil of Hillsboro, Victor of Lafayette, Valmer of San Diego, Calif. and Harold of Edwardsburg Mich.; a brother, Freeman of Tiffon, Ohio; a half brother, Lee Glascock of Lafayette; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, who died Aug -28, 1969 two sisters and a brother. (Burial in Centennial)
