Lafayette Courier: At the home of John E. Hutton, one half mile north of Romney, occurred the death of Mrs. Rebecca Hutton at 7 o’clock this morning of a complication of diseases. Deceased was eighty five years old and had been a resident of the locality in which she died for sixty years. Mrs. Hutton was born in Virginia in 1813 and was left a widow in 1857. Her husband died while on an overland trip to California. The funeral will occur on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home of John E. Hutton, Rev. Williamson, of Crawfordsville, officiating. The interment will be in the Romney Cemetery. -s
