Emily A. Hutton, wife of John M. Hutton, died of consumption Thursday night at the age of 37 years, at her home, four miles northeast of town. The funeral will be held at Young's chapel on Sunday at 11 o'clock. Interment at Oak Hill. - thanks to Kim H

Emily Amelia Enoch, wife of John M. Hutton, was born Oct. 10, 1855, and died September 14, 1893, aged 37 years, 11 months and 4 days. She was married Sept. 23, 1875, which union was blessed with three children, two of whom—Mabel and Floyd—are still living, and with their father are left to mourn the loss of a dear mother and companion.
Mrs. Hutton was a member of the Christian Church, having united with the church six years ago, under the ministration of Dr. Kuhn, now of Tipton, Ind. She was a devout Christian, a fond mother, a faithful wife and a warm hearted friend and neighbor. The funeral took place from Young’s Chapel, Sept. 17, conducted by Rev. Shuey, and was largely attended. Interment was at Oak Hill. - s
