WAYNETOWN -- Walter Hutchison, 91, former Waynetown area resident, died at 11:07 p.m. Tuesday at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. A native of Montgomery County, he had farmed in the Waynetown area until 1947. He was educated in Montgomery County. Born June 30, 1880, he was a son of George and Elizabeth Shelly Hutchison. He was married to Millie Whitaker on Sept 16, 1903. She died on April 30, 1947. Survivors include four sons, Chester of Cloverdale, with whom he made his home, Amos and Telbert, both of Crawfordsville, and R. B. of Wingate, and two daughters, Mrs. Esther Maxwell and Mrs. Mary Bayless, both of New Market. He was preceded in death by two sons. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown.

WAYNETOWN — Funeral services for Walter Hutchison, 81, former Waynetown resident, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Arthur Bowser officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery north of Elmdale. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mr. Hutchison died Tuesday at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. Survivors include four sons, two daughters, 25 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and a sister.
