Waynetown - Mrs. Arminta May Hutchinson 83 of Rt. 2, Veedersburg, died at 1:20 p.m. Wed at the Lane House Nursing Care Cetner at Crawfordsville, where she had been a patient since July 5, 1974. She was retired from Wabash College. Born Feb 7, 1892, in Montgomery County, she was a duaghter of Joel P. and Fran Cina Ramsey Wills. She was educated in Montgomery County schools. She married Dudley O. Hutchison in September of 1912. He died in 1923. Surviving are a son, Max of Rt 2, Veedersburg a brother Roy Wills of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Thursa Gentry of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Laila Slavens, Crawfordsville; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Two daughters, four brothers and a sister are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m Saturday in Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friday may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Armenta May Hutchison, 83, of Veedersburg Route 2, died at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 26, 1975) at Lane House in Crawfordsville. She had been a patient there since July of 1974. She had been ill a year. Born Feb. 7, 1892, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Joel P. and Francina Ramsey Wills. In September of 1917, she was married to Dudley O, Hutchison, who died in 1923. Mrs. Hutchison had been a cook at Wabash College until her retirement. She was a member of Liberty Chapel Church and had been educated in Montgomery County schools. Survivors include a son, Max of Veedersburg; a brother, Roy Wills of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Phursa Gentry and Mrs. Laila Slavens, both of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two daughters, four brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends will be received after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. – jlr
