HILLSBORO — Mrs. Myrtle Hutchins, 86, died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville at 10 p.m. Saturday after suffering a broken hip and arm in a fall at her home a month ago. She was born Sept. 14, 1879, near Prairie Creek to William and Sarah Ann Huff Carter. She married Dan Hutchins at Harveysburg in December, 1901. He died July 13, 1933. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church, the Fraternity Bible Class, the Circle III Christian Women's Fellowship club and the Cain Township HDC. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ford of Hillsboro and Mrs. Josephine Clawson of Attica; a son, Carter Hutchins of Hillsboro, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Betty Crane and two great-grand daughter, Candilou and Sammie Sue Crane, all of Westminister, Mass. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillsboro Christian Church. Rev. Charles Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in the Rockfield Cemetery.
