Hillsboro - Mrs. Mildred E. Hutchins, 75 of Hillsboro died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at the Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington where she had been the last 7 months. For 23 years she was a cottage director at the Indiana Girls School at Clermont, retiring in 1959. Born Dec 25, 1890 at Indianapolis, she was a daughter of M. Edward and Mary Ellen Scott Bright. She married Robert Hutchins at Spencer June 15, 1911. He died in 1934. Mrs. Hutchins came to the community 55 years ago. She was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church near Yeddo. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eva McBride of Danville, Ill and Mrs. Roberta Snyder of New Richmond; two sons, Robert of Danville, Ill and Daniel W. of Yuma, AZ; a brother, Edward Bright of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 3 p.m. Sunday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Harris A. Stuermer of the First Baptist Church of Danville, Ill. will officiate and burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery west of Hillsboro. - kbz
