Absalom Hurt, an honored pioneer of the county, died Tuesday morning at his home in Waynetown at the advanced age of 84 years. He leaves one son, Dr. JN Hurt of Waynetown and a granddaughter, Mrs. Chalres U. Stockbarger of Indianapolis. The funeral took place at the home this afternoon - kbz

Absalom Hurt died Tuesday morning at his home at Waynetown, age 84 years. One son Dr. JN Hurt, of Waynetown and a granddaughter, Mrs. Charles W. Stockbarger survive him. The funeral occurred Wednesday afternoon.
