ESTELLA KRITZ HUNTER

Mrs. Estella Kritz Hunter, 96 widow of Rice V. Hunter a former Presbyterian minister died Tuesday at the home of a son, Raymond Hunter at Syracuse, NY where she had been ill for about a year. She was born in Waveland in 1856. She married Rice V. Hunter in June 1882. The husband was a clergyman and filled pulpits in Terre Haute, Indianapolis and Buffalo, NY. She was the daughter of Henry S and Mary Brush Kritz. Her father was a member of the faculty of Wabash College for many years and was a nationally known educator. Surviving besides the son at whose home she died, a daughter, Grace Hunter, a teacher in the Cleveland, Ohio schools; two grandsons, a granddaughter, 3 sisters, Mrs. George Cowan and Mrs. Victor Kleiser, both of Waveland and Mrs. WL Straughn of Crawfordsville and several nieces. Burial at Buffalo, NY.
