William John Hunt, 70, 708 S. Walnut, died Friday at the Turtle Creek Nursing Home in Lafayette. He was born March 30, 1901, in Putnam County, a son of Andrew and Minnie Moore Hunt. He married Doris Pickel who preceded him in death in 1967. Survivors include six sons: David of Crawfordsville; Donald of Danville, Ill; Robert of Springfield, Wis; Charles of Indianapolis and Harry and Richard of Homosassa Springs, Fla; two daughters, Mrs. Connie Confield of Homosassa Springs and Mrs. Nancy Ford of Crawfordsville; a brother, Hobart of Crawfordsville, and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine McKinney of Dover and Mrs. Edna Tideman of Miami. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. Edward Dooley will officiate. Burial will be in the masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday. - kbz
