William Hunt, 68, a resident of Waveland since 1937, died Monday morning in a Logansport Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past two years. He was born Nov 1 8, 1901, at Covington to Elmer and Catherine Ziegler Hunt. He was married to Thelma Kesner on Dec 18, 1923 at Terre Haute. Mr. Hunt was a member of the Covington Methodist Church and Waveland Lodge 300, F&AM. Mr. Hunt owned and operated a garage and service station in Waveland until his health failed. Prior to this he had operated garages in Clinton and Marsha ll. Surviving are his widow; three sons, Arian of Brownsburg, Cecil of Waveland and Donald of Rantoul, Ill; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Kesner of Cayuga, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted by Rev. Grover DeNeal at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Clinton. Masonic rites will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may ca ll after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. - kbz
