SAMUEL HUNT

Samuel Hunt, aged 66 of Crawfordsville who with his wife have been visiting with their daughter, Mrs. Florence Powers, of near Ladoga for the past 3 months, died this morning about six after a fatal illness which seized him last Friday. He has been ill for about a year with heart disease linked with hardening of his arteries, but his condition was not considered alarming. The deceased was a member of the Mace Methodist Church. The body will be taken to the home of his son, Walter E. Hunt funeral director of Crawfordsville, who resides at 109 Simpson St, and from this home the funeral will be on Thursfsy afternoon at 3. Mr. Hunt married Miss Jennie Coulter who was born in Pa. and to them 6 children were born and with the widow survive. They are: Walter L. Hunt, Crawfordsville; Mintie Coombs, Green Co In; W.R. Hunt, Red Wing, Mn; Mrs. Lena Arnold, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Florence Powers of near Ladoga and Harley Hunt of Crawfordsville, 11 grandchildren; three brothers, one half sister and one half brother also survive. The brothers are John Hunt and Wesley Hunt of this city, and Cyrus Hunt of Missouri, Mattie Berry is the half sister and Ed Hunt the half brother. Both of the later live in the city. - kbz
