When Mrs. Rilla Hunt, age 72 did not respond when he called at the door of her room this morning at six, WL Hunt, 109 Simpson Street, nephew of the aged woman, entered the room and found her body stretched lifeless upon the bed. She had died probably about an hour before and the discovery was made, death resulting from a rupture of a blood vessel of the brain. This was determined by Coroner CW Howard who was notified as soon as the body was found. The deceased was subject to attacks thought by relatives to be heart trouble. It is now believed that these frequenet attacks were of a nature similar to that which proved fatal this morning. Mrs. Hunt is the widow of the late Thomas Hunt of New Ross, whose death occurred in Jan 1911. Since the death of Mr. Hunt the aged woman has been living at intervals with her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Robbins of Ladoga and her son, Joseph at New Ross. Another son, Clarence lives in Lafayette. She has visisted her nephew here frequently. Her last visit was begun 3 weeks ago. The deceased was born on a farm near Mace in 1841. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Linn. Of a family of 9 Mrs. Hunt is survived by only two brothers, John W. Linn of this city and George W. Linn of Indianapolis. Except for 18 years from 1882 to 1900 when she resided with her husband in Kansas, Mrs. Hunt had spent her entire life in the neighborhood of Mace and New Ross. She was well known in this city. Funeral services will be conducted form the home of W Hunt here at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery. The services will be in charge of Rev. George E. Francis of Chicago.
