Mrs. Katherine Hunt, 909 Danville avenue, died at the hospital at half past five on Sunday after an illness of one month. She was taken much worse at eleven on Sunday and despite an operation she soon passed away. An infant child died with her and will be buried in the same grave. The deceased was the wife of Taylor Hunt, an employee of the Ben Hur bakery in this city. She was the daughter of John and Mary Hampton of New Market, both of whom survive as do three brothers, Presley Hampton, Clinton, Ind., A. Hampton, Elwood, Ind., and O.H. Hampton, of this city. One brother, Charley, died less than a year ago. One child, Lois lake Hunt, survives. Another child Dorothy, is dead. Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Christian church in this city, having joined the New Market church about fifteen years ago. She changed her membership to this city two years ago. The funeral will be conducted from the Christian church at half past two on Tuesday and will be conducted by Rev. J. M. Alexander, pastor of the congregation.
