GEORGE HUNT

George HUNT, 78, veteran of the Spanish-American war, who was born in the Mace neighborhood, east of Crawfordsville, died Wed. at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Hunt was twice married. His first wife, who died many years ago was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Crane, former Montgomery County residents. The second wife the former Lula Parker of Indianapolis survives, together with a brother, Fred Hunt of Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt had been living for the past few years at the Soldiers Home in Lafayette. Previously they had lived in Indianapolis where Mr. Hunt was a painter by trade. Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Soldier's Home in Lafayette Friday afternoon.
