Roachdale – Mrs. Doris Marie Hunt 55, Montgomery County native who resided in the county all her life, died early Tuesday morning at her home on Rt 1, Roachdale. Born Sept 18, 1911, she was the daughter of Jacob and Myrtle Hurley Pickle. She married William John Hunt on Nov 23, 1931. Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Crawfordsville First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, three daughter, Mrs. Nancy Ford of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Connie Coonfield of Indianapolis and Peggy Hunt at home; six sons, David and Richard, both of Crawfordsville, Donald of Roachdale, Charles at Home, Harry of Greenwood, Ind and Robert of Arizona; 9 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Opal Glover of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Mary Sayler of New Market. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Rev. Paul Hubble will officiate. Burial will be in the Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery.
