Marcella Marguerite Humphreys, 69, of 1309 Durham Drive, died Saturday morning in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. Mrs. Humphreys was a member of First United Methodist Church, Needleworkers and the Crawfordsville Art League. She was educated at Terre Haute. Born April 28, 1911, at Paris, France, she was a daughter of Sarrfin and Alphonse Phillip. In 1936, she married Dr. John W. Humphreys, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, John P. Humphreys of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Carol McGee of Nashville; a sister Juliette Wilson of Terre Haute; and three grandchildren. Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or a favorite charity. smc
