Mrs. Effie Hulvey 68 died at her home in Home Place Thurs after a short illness. A former resident of Indianapolis, she had been living in Home Place for the past two years. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home in Carmel, and burial will follow in the Darlington cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home any time. Survivors include the husband, Charles Hulvey, two sons, James T. Grubbs of Home Place and Doward Grubbs of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Anderton of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Silas Dowdell and Richard Dowdell both of Louisville, Ky; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Hollett, also of Louisville and Mrs. Stella Perrigo of West Point, Ind.
