Hulet - Ambrose Dudley

Ambrose D. Hulet, brother of John Hulet, and with whom he has been making his home for some years, died Monday night at the age of 83 years. He had been in feeble health since coming here and spent most of his time in the house, so that but few made his acquaintance. Yet we knew him as a quiet, inoffensive old man waiting to be called home. Short services were held at the home by Rev. Buchanan Tuesday afternoon. Interment was at the I. O. O. F. Cemetery. -s

Ambrose Dudley Hulet was born March 3rd, 1817, in Mason County, Kentucky, now Maysville, moved to Indiana with his father in 1830, and settled near Greencastle, in Putnam County. He was married to Eleanor Elliott Dec. 21st, 1854. Three children were born to them as follows: Etta Hulet, Villo Johnson Hulet, Emma Bell Hulet, all of whom are dead. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He died at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 5 days. - thanks "S" for all your great work on the obit section of this site
