Ogden R. Hughes was interred at the McCormick Cemetery Sunday March 11. He was 75 years of age and died on his birthday. He was a kind husband, a loving father and a good neighbor and citizen and will be missed by all who knew him. - kbz

Ogden R. Hughes died at Waynetown yesterday at 10:35, of grip with complications, aged 75 years to a day. He has been a resident of this county for over forty years and was a highly respected citizen. He leaves three children. The funeral services will be held at Waynetown tomorrow at 10:30 o’clock conducted by Rev. Wm Vancleave. The burial will take place at the Snyder graveyard in Ripley Township. -s

Ogden R. Hughes died at Waynetown yesterday of dropsy at the age of 75 years. He was born in Butler County Ohio and came to this count 50 years ago. His wife, who was Mary Hancock died several years ago. Mr. Hughes was well respected and a good man. The funeral will be held at 10 o’clock tomorrow; interment at Red Snyder cemetery. Mr. Hughes died on his birthday yesterday. His son Henry’s birthday was today and his daughter, Mary C will reach her birthday tomorrow. - kbz
