Funeral services in memory of Miss
Orpha Huggans, who died Thursday afternoon at the home of her brother, George
F. Huggans in Englewood will be held at the latter’s home Saturday afternoon at
4 o’clock. Rev. GL Stine of the United Brethern Church will be in charge and a
quartet will sing. The pall bearers will be Charles Goltra, Daniel Rountree,
Henry Campbell, WT Harlan, Albert Miller and MB Binford. Burial will be made in
Oak Hill Cemetery. Miss Huggans was born
in Darlington Jan 13, 1848 and died June 29, 1911, being a little over 63 years
old. She is survived by her brother, George F. Huggans, one sister, Mrs. TC
Glenn of Princeton, Ky and two half-sisters, Mrs. DB Sigler of Princeton, Ky
and Mrs. Belle White of Coyville, Kan. Miss Huggans was a member of the
Presbyterian Church and has been a school teacher nearly all her life. Heart
trouble was the cause of death. - kbz
