Loren Hufford, 64, of Brownsburg, father of Hal Hufford of Crawfordsville, died Monday in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. He was owner and operator of Hufford Laundry and Dry cleaning at Brownsburg. Mr. Hufford was a member of Brownsburg Christian Church, Brownsburg Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis Scottish Rite and I.S. Club. He was born in Brownsburg on Sept. 11, 1912, a son of John and Lily Nash Hufford. Surviving besides the son are his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Jane Barrick of Freeport, Ill.; a brother, Floyd of Brownsburg; a sister, Esther Bair of Arizona; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Jones & Matthews Mortuary at Brownsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home. The body will be cremated. – jlr
