Perrysville -- Earl R. Huffman, age 68, a teacher in Indiana schools for 43 years, died Friday night, Oct. 5, in St. Vincent's Hospital at Indianapolis. A resident of Pittsboro, Mr. Huffman had taught school at Pittsboro, Brownsburg, Speedway, Hillsdale and Perrysville in 1960. He taught mathematics. Mr. Huffman graduated from Wabash College, was a World War I veteran and belonged to the Masonic Lodge at Brownsburg, the Brownsburg Eastern Star, the Indiana Association of Teachers, the Retired Teachers Association and the Brownsburg Calvary Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife, the former Marie Larrick of Crawfordsville. Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. Monday, Oct. 8 at the Jones and Mathews Funeral Home at Brownsburg. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville.
