HUFFMAN, Walter - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Crawfordsville – Walter C. Huffman, 67, Crawfordsville R 4 farmer, died at 8:10 p.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette where he had been a patient since March 12.  He had been ill four months.  A native of near Springfield, Ohio, he farmed in the Crawfordsville and Darlington areas most of his  life except from 1940-1945 when he resided near Cincinnati.  Mr. Huffman was a member of Gravelly Run Friends Church and the Farm Bureau. He was married here in 1917 to Lona Frances Conover.  Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. John M. Wilson of Wingate and Mrs. Fred Esra of Crawfordsville; a son, Robert A. Huffman, at home and a sister, Miss Gladys Huffman and a brother, Lillard both of Crawfordsville.   ~~~Transcribed and Typed by kbz
