Mrs. Ethel M. Hudson, 82, of 1017 E. Chestnut St., died Thursday evening in the Ben Hur Nursing Home after a long illness. She was educated in Montgomery County Schools and was employed in the Crawfordsville Match Factory for 25 years. Mr. Hudson was also a paper hanger. She had lived at Anderson, but most of her life was spent in the Crawfordsville area. She was a member of the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church and the Faithful Helpers Sunday School Class. Born April 8, 1894, she was a daughter of Epheram and Nancy Watson Zachary of Smartsburg. She married Samuel Earl Hudson on Oct. 22, 1913 at Crawfordsville. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Hattie Waunita Millikan of Crawfordsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son, four brothers and two sisters. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Burkhart Funeral home with Rev. Stanley Hall officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. --tch
