Clarence E. Hudson, 67, of Rt. 6, died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday in his home on the Darlington Road north of Crawfordsville. He was a life resident and farmer of Montgomery County. Born April 20, 1895, near Linden, he was a son of John and Clara Mason Hudson. He was educated in the county schools and early in life attended the United Brethren Church at Alamo. He was married in Crawfordsville Sept. 10, 1928 to Helen Beach, who survives. Mr. Hudson was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion post at Darlington. Surviving beside the wife are three daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Mary) Yager and Miss Dorothy Hudson of Indianapolis and Mrs. Roger (Martha) Lewis of Danville, Ind.; a grandson and granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and four brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bright Funeral Home here with Rev. John Servies officiating and burial in the Linden Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
