CHARLEY HUBBARD, 78, suffered a fatal heart attack at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, Aug 23, 1962 while walking along the road near his home at Waveland. Mr. Hubbard, a retired railroader was a member of Eagles Lodge 1055 and VFW Post 50 of Crawfordsville. He was born Nov 9, 1883, in Pulaski County, Ky a son of Noah and Maranda Chaney Hubbard. He was never married. Survivors include a brother, Chocky and a sister, Mrs. William VanHook and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home here. Burial in Bethany cemetery, Marshall. - kbz
