Fay H. Hurt, 58, of 1109 W. Main St, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in  Culver Hospital after an extended illness. He had been a salesman of  the Thermoid Div. of HK Quarter Co at Bellefontaine, Oh. Mr. Hurt  served as a captain in the AF in WWII. He attended Officer  Candidate School at Miami of Oh and officer Command Staff School  at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas,  He was graduated from Crawfordsville HS in  1934 and attended its Business College. he was a member of the  First United Methodist Church and the American Legion. Born Oct 23,  1916 at Jamestown he was a son of Russell Fay and Bessie Huffman Hurt. He was married to Mildred Hollingsworth on May 29, 1941 at  Indianapolis. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Randall  j and Bradford of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Grimes  Sclotterbeck of Muncie; four grandchildren an a niece. Services  will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Fun Home with the Rev.  Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Toronto Cemetery near  Dana. Friends may calla t the funeral home. kbz
