John HURT, 77 died July 3, 1960 at home of brother, Warren Co Hurt, Tangier, RR. Born March 30, 1883 Metcalf Co Ky son of William and Mary Green Hurt. Construction worker; member of Cates Nazarene Church. Survivors: dau Velma Sherrill; five brothers: Warren C; Jesse; George; Ralph; Alva; 5 sisters: Lizzie Swagger; Pauline Hancock; Lucy Taylor; Nora Ork; Eunice Potoka; and a grandchild.
