Joyce, the little 2-year old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Russell Hunsicker, lost her life on Tuesday evening in a peculiar manner. Mrs. Hunsicker was peeling tomatoes at the home near Ladoga and her sister was starting a fire and had some coal oil in a cup which she placed on a shelf where the child got it and drank a small quantity of the contents. She strangled badly and her jaws set. A physician was called but death ensued in an hour and a half. Funeral services at the home were at two o'clock yesterday afternoon in charge of Rev. Victor Keiser. Mrs. Emmert and Mrs. Banta sang. She was an only child and the parents have the sympathy of the community. Mrs. Hunsicker was Ramona, the daughter of Lee Spencer. - kbz
