Source: Crawfordsville Review Feb 23, 1911 p 2
Roachdale, Dec 23 - Isaac Howard, jeweler, of this place, died Wednesday morning from the effects of wood alcohol, a quantity of which he drank Tuesday. It is thought that he took the drug with intent to commit suicide as he had been in ill health for some time and despondent. He is survived by a widow and one child, a daughter. Mr. Howard took the poison while in his store here and was found unconscious by a customer. Medical aid was summoned and he was revived but the effects of the alcohol could not be eradicated --- typed by kbz
