Albert William (Bill) Howard, 52, of Concord Road formerly of Roachdale, died Tuesday (Feb. 8, 1977) in St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis. Mr. Howard was a World War II Veteran. He was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church. He was employed as set-up man for Detroit Diesel Allison Divisions. Born at Odon, April 12, 1924, he was a son of Leonard and Alma Widman Howard. He was married to Wanda Fritts Feb. 23, 1947. She survives,. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Louetta) Oppy of Lafayette, Mrs. John (Lynda) Bean of Crawfordsville and Leesa Howard, at home; five brothers, Dexter and Larry, both of Odon, Grover Dale of Indianapolis, Floyd of Canada and Eldon of Missouri; two sisters, Marcile DeMotte and Darlene Bechtel, both of Odon and three grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Woodland Heights Christian Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at Perkins Funeral Home in Ladoga 6-9 p.m. Thursday and after 2 p.m. Friday.-- tch
