“Old Hickory” – Jan 30 --Corbin G. Hostetter, a well known citizen throughout this community, passed away Saturday evening, January 27.  Death resulted from  pneumonia with a complication of brain trouble.  His serious illness was of short duration lasting only about three days until death claimed him.  Everywhere he was highly esteemed for his honesty and he was truly devoted to his family, always looking ahead for their welfare.  He leaves a wife, four children, father, mother, four brothers and one sister who deeply mourn his loss.  He was always ready to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends in their time of need.  His memory will ever be cherished in the hearts of the many he so willingly left home duties that their tasks might be made lighter … A Neighbor
