Horney - Daniel

Yesterday at Kirkpatrick, in Madison Township, occurred the funeral of Daniel Horney, aged 28, who was accidentally killed at Decatur, Ind., last Tuesday, by a freight train while he was attending his duties as station master. Mr. Horney was raised in this county and was considered a fine young man. The funeral was peculiarly sad from the fact that his father and sister who are living somewhere in Illinois could not be found and know nothing of his death. He was buried by the side of his mother.
