Carter D. Horney, 68, of 1015 Tuttle Ave., a retired foreman at California Pellet Mill, died Monday in Fairfield Hospital at Lancaster, Ohio. He had been visiting his son, Darrell, and his family when he was stricken. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles lodges here. Surviving besides his son are two brothers, Dewey and William of California, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
