Mrs. Norma Koster Hornbeck, former resident of Crawfordsville, died Monday at Merritt Island, Fla., after suffering a stroke. Mrs. Hornbeck, 73, is survived by her husband, Ira Hornbeck. The deceased left Crawfordsville approximately six years ago. While here, she served as a recreation director. She was engaged in the same type of work at Merritt Island. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Harding of Aptos, Calif., and a sister, Elsie Ostermeyer of Indianapolis. Graveside rites will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Concordia Cemetery of Indianapolis. Friends may call at the Shirley Brothers Funeral Home, 946 N. Illinois St. – jlr
