Sylvester Hopping, living one mile north of Yountsville died on Wednesday the 21st. His age was 81 years, 11 months 21 days. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence on Friday by Rev. E.R. Johnson of this city. The Bible from which the text was taken was printed in (smudged - maybe 1811). The remains were interred in the O'Neal Cemetery at Yountsville - typed by kbz.
