Holton - Rasmus

S. A. R. Beach and wife and Paul came home Sunday morning from southwestern Wisconsin where they had been attending the funeral of her father, Rasmus Holton, a pioneer of that country, aged 79. He was cutting a small poplar tree alone in a secluded spot on his farm and when a gust of wind caused it to fall contrary to expectations and it caught him, killing him instantly.
