VEEDERSBURG -- Woollen Hollcroft, 78, of Rt. 4, Veedersburg, a retired farmer and secretary of Veedersburg F&AM for 20 years, died Monday in Community Hospital at Williamsport. He was a member of the Sterling Christian Church, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Western Indiana Shrine Club, Zorah Temple at Terre Haute, Masonic Lodge at Crawfordsville, OES and Low 12. Mr. Hollcroft was born at Vevay on Oct. 26, 1898, a son of Clarence and Sarah O'Day Hollcroft. He was married to Beatrice LaBaw on April 15, 1925, at Crawfordsville. She died in 1975. Surviving are a daughter, Parquita Hollcroft of Veedersburg, and a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Swafford of Cincinnati. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Parham Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Throckmorton. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Masonic services have been set for 8 o'clock tonight. --waw
