MARSHALL, Ind. (CNS) -- Thurman Holland, 80, a retired farmer and former blacksmith of the Grange Corner community, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 5, 1968) at Union Hospital, Terre Haute. He had been a patient there two weeks. Born Oct. 17, 1888 in Cates, he was the son of Prior and Celeste Suttles Holland. Survivors include six sons, Robert L. of Baldwin, N.Y., Ross V. of Wilmington, N.C., Ralph L. of Columbus, Ga., Rudolph P. of Turlock, Calif., J. Randall of Vietnam, and M. Sgt. Richard Holland in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Weybracht of Levittown, N.Y., and Mrs. Rovigne Bracken of Cates; a sister, Mrs. Isy Allen of West Lebanon. Also, two stepsons, Frank Harvey of Alvin, Ill., and Marvin Harvey of Sacramento, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Fred Teague of Los Alamitos, Calif. and Mrs. Edgar Shirer of Crawfordsville Route 1; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. The body is at the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Marshall. Arrangements are incomplete.   --typed by Walt W

MARSHALL, Ind. (CNS) -- funeral services for Thurman Holland, a retired farmer and former blacksmith of the Grange Corner Community, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home with the Rev. E. V. Wamsley officiating. Burial will be in the Wolfcreek Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jesse Harvern on Jan. 17, 1966, three brothers and two sisters.  --typed by Walt W
