Frank H. Holland, familiarly known to his friends as “Banta” died this morning in his rooms at the Ramsey Hotel of heart failure. While Mr. Holland had been ailing for a day or two, his sickness was not supposed to be of a serious nature until late in the night when a physician was called. It was found that he was suffering with a weak heart. The malady failing to respond to treatment he died at 1 a.m. “Banta” Holland was known all over western Indiana among horsemen, having engaged in the business of buying and selling horse for more than 30 years. He enjoyed the esteem and confidence of all who knew him. The deceased was 48 years of age and leaves a brother, Charles Holland one sister, Nettie Myers of Chicago. The funeral will be conducted at the home of Charles Holland, 511 So. Plum Street and will no doubt be in charge of the Fraternal order of Eagles of which the deceased was a member. - kbz
