Gus Holland, 85, of 304 Porter St., a retired painting and decorating cont ractor, died Wednesday night in Culver Hospital. He had been in failing he alth. Mr. Holland was a contractor here many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Born July 4, 1889, he was a son of Charles and Lida Holland. He was married to Ruth Badgley in 1912. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Neese of Crawfordsville, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Devitt of Crawfordsville. A twin brother, Frank, a brother, Harry, and a sister, Belle Boraker, are deceased. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. James L. Ranard officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.--waw
